Description: | Top slope of the context is slight down to the E. The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes: | This context was opened after a cut was found into bedrock near the foundation (possible FT) trench near the east wall. We want to findout its extent, if it is similar to the cuts in the SE quadrant, and if possible, its reason to be cut in the first place. There seems to be a soil change to the east, which is most likely the FT for the east wall. A martyr will be left ont hat side to prevent contamination. To the north, the cut into bedrock was found. To the northwest point there were found to be a lot more fine pebbles. Bedrock has been found at the bottom. It is clear now that the cut continues form the NW point towards the west, but soil above it prevents further excavation. Thus we are changing contexts. This pit is not like those found in the SE quadrant.
