Description:   Top slope of the context is uneven. The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   In order to clean and uncover the Late Wall built along inner face of surviving Stoa blocks at the east side Room 4 Front, our area was expanded ca. 2 m to the north; it now ends at the scarp of the robbing trench of the front wall of the Shops.
This context was initially opened to clean the portion of Room 4 (F) in our designated area, but after we expand further to the North, is to encompass the entire area North of the robbing trench (cut 355). During cleaning, however, the workmen also continue to clean some of the area previously demarcated as context 323 and keep pottery from this cleaning in the 347 bucket. Therefore, these contexts are subsequently mixed and equated.
