Description:   Structure materials: Reused Stoa blocks; tile; unidentified stones; rubble. Material size: Variable. Material finish: Rough-hewn, some squared. Material construction: Mixed. Material bonding: None. Features: Spoliation.
Notes:   This is a late wall built in the robbing trench of the North wall of the Shops; it extends from around the western side of Shop 5 to the middle of Shop 4.
Note that several architectural members from the South Stoa set up atop or near this wall probably do not derive from it but have simply been displayed here by Broneer. (The top elevation for this record, however, was taken atop such a block.)
The wall is built from a jumble of material ranging from large, squared blocks probably cut down from the Stoa and other buildings; beach rock; various tiles; and other, unidentified (field?)stones. It is very roughly coursed, but the larger blocks often disrupt the levels of the courses.
