Stratum:   rounded to angular spherical to tabular fine to coarse pebbles, a few cobbles
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light greyish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is moderately sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   panos believes that this surface may be the same as 531, and that 533 has the same relationship to 527 as 531 does to 530.
a layer of rocky fill lies below this, and against that is a layer of soil with some rocks. Maybe these were leveling fill for this surface. Both rest on a lower surface that is sloping down to the SE.
If this is the same surface as 531, it would be quite large. Panos suggested that the pebbles (527)may be the road and that these surfaces on either side could be a 'sidewalk.'we still think this is an exterior surface (yard or working area) that was repaired by the pebbles. If it is a road, it would be very large for this period.
28/5/2016 we currently interpret this surface as one lens of an EH metaled road. Another portion of it survives to the south (Context 531)
