Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the SW. The soil color is light greyish brown. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is well sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   Well made cement floor. Underneath, there seems to be a well made, smoothed floor. The goal during the laset day of excavation was to understand the relationship between the "mud brick structure" (1073) and the floor layers in the east half of the unit. The excavation of 1106 has revealed a well made floor mainly made of lime. This floor was not visible over structure 1073 excavated in session 1 of the 2017 excavations, therefore the west boundary is its original one. In the north, 1106 was cut by what appears to be the foundation trench of the N wall of the courtyard. This fill of foundation trench is still wet because of a few days of heavy rain, therefore it is not possible to excavate it and fully understand the stratigraphy in this side of depost 1106. 1106 S boundary is artificial because it continues under the paved section of the courtyard. The west boundary of is artifcial too, since it was intentionally sectioned.
