Notes:   This context is the martyr left by the excavation of context 48 in order to prevent contamination by the eventual excavation of the northern portion of structure 11. The soil is graish brown of medium compaction with few inclusions of pottery and pebbles. Excavation proceeds quickly and after only 0.10m we come down on a new, more compect layer. We associate this context with leveling layer excavated in context 48 for the road above.
