Title:   Post hole in courtyard
Notebook:   1108
Context:   178
Date:   2014/04/25
Description:   The context shape in plan is circular. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are vertical. The break at the base of the cut is gradual. The base of the cut is sloping to the east. Truncation: None.
Notes:   This small circular cut was found when Deposit 173 was removed. It is cut into a surface with pebbles. It did not have its own fill but was probably filled by the layer above, Deposit 173. It is very small and shallow. It appears to be a cutting for a post or something similar, but its current state is too shallow to support anything vertically.
