Stratum:   About 10-20%, small fine pebbles, a few sherds/larger angular cobbles on pit surface
Description:   The soil color is dark greyish grey. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   Before excavating deposit 372 in the NW corner of the corridor, adjacent to Room 7, we decided to investigate what looked like another fire pit, dur to charred remains on the surface (which was depressed a little).
At the end of the deposit, the shape was definetely oval and shallow. Like other pits found in the corridor, it does seem like this pit was used for burning, too. The use of these fire pits indicate that this space could have been outside at some point.
