Description:   The soil color is dark greyish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   We open this context immediately adjacent to the western end of context 43. The small mound appeared dfifferent from the surrounding soil, mostly brown with two patches of red clay. We come upon a new surface after 0.05-0.10m of excavation. This new surface appears to be the same as that surrounding it, so we stop excavation.
