Decoration:   Silhouette style. One broad horizontal line below lip; animal frieze bed below by a band bordered by a thin line above and below. Animal frieze: lion to r., bird to r., lion to r. Filling ornament: heavy crosses without incisions, blobs. Reserved base with widely-spaced rays. Resting surface reserved; edges of ring foot painted; undersurface with a circular band around a central dot. Interior: painted solid except for a reserved line at lip. Handles reserved with horizontal stripe.
Material:   Rather deep kotyle with low small foot. Brownish black glaze partly worn off.
Munsell Color:   2.5 Y 8/3 (pale brown)
Condition:   Missing parts. Mended from many fragments. One handle and one fragment of rim missing. Restored.
