Description:   Fruit stand with ridge at top of foot, flat undersurface. "A5" on original inventory book. Similar to C-1937-1656 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 130).
Decoration:   Green glaze all over except interior of foot. Interior with impressed central medallion containing cross with spreading base, and border of wavy line.
Material:   Pale brown clay with rare small to very large rounded and subrounded red, gray and shiny white inclusions. Rare small and medium angular and subrounded voids.
Munsell Color:   10 YR 7/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving floor and top of foot; base broken off.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
