Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, flat resting and undersurfaces. Body rises at ca. 20 degrees, vertical low rim, tapered lip. Similar to C-1938-447.
Decoration:   White slip all over. Pale yellow glaze on interior. Incised design on interior probably of griffin (tail and folded wings depicted). Reddish brown dots painted on incised design.
Material:   Coarse orange clay with rare large spherical angular white inclusions and rare fine black inclusions with rare fine voids.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving small part of wall, rim, lip.
