Description:   Conical bowl with flaring convex body to rounded lip. Shape similar to C-1947-50.
Decoration:   West Slope decoration on exterior of incised checkerboard with alternating black and red painted squares below plain painted band (color not preserved) below lip. Four preserved black painted dots on top edge of lip; interior has incised checkerboard with alternating black, red, and white painted squares below white painted band; plain red painted band below lip. No parallel for decoration on both sides.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with rare small subrounded tabular white and rare small voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/2 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving small part of rim.
