Description:   Byzantine plate or bowl with rounded body, slightly ribbed from wheel on exterior. Similar to C-1936-665.
Decoration:   Yellow glaze on exterior and interior. Faintly impressed design of three bars.
Material:   Sandy coarse white clay with rare angular spherical black inclusions. Rare fine angular and two very large coarse angular spherical voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/2 (white)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., preserving body. Traces of yellow glaze on exterior.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
