Description: | Broneer Type XXII lamp with narrow rim and large, concave discus. Sides slope inward sharply. One fill hole below the figural representation. | |
Decoration: | Slip is dark reddish-orange. Rim has three grooves. Within discus, figure of winged Pegasos faces to the right. In front, tree growing from a vase. Behind Pegasos is a rectangular shield (?) and above, a round one. Behind Pegasos, the lower four feet of another, smaller horse are preserved. Cf. Loeschke, Lampen aus Vindonissa, no. 199, pl.
