Description: | A relief belt buckle, square, with central field surrounded by raised dots. This field is square and within it is a relief lion in left profile with tail raised to fill the upper right corner of the field. To the left of this panel are two cylindrical knobs at the upper and lower edge of the buckle respectively; the hinge once ran between them but has been filed away. The right part of the buckle, the clasp proper is surrounded by engraved stylized floral decoration which is greatly worn. | |
Decoration: | The reverse of the buckle is smooth and totally devoid of decoration. | |
