Description:   Conical loomweight with slightly concave base, rounded bevel, flattened sides, similar to profiles X-XI, XI (Corinth XII, fig. 23). Similar to MF4903, MF 4725 (Corinth XII, pp. 169-170, nos. 1172, 1177, pl. 75).
Writing:   inscribed. Alpha (L. H. 0.015) on center of base incised in leather hard clay.
Material:   Coarse pale yellow clay with common large to very largle (up to 0.004) angular tabular mudstone and black stone, few medium rounded tabular white lime, and few fine sparkling inclusions and voids.
Munsell Color:   5Y 8/3 (pale yellow)
Condition:   Missing parts. Single fragment with top broken at suspension hole and lower body wall and base partially broken.
Manufacture:   HM. Elliptical section suggests the shape is rolled out and hand-polished. No signs of burnished polish.
