Description:   Jar or flask with funnel mouth. Flared neck, squared rim, slightly thickened on exterior.
Decoration:   Applied horizontal trail around circumference of neck, Th. 0.004, H. 0.041 from lip, in same glass color as vessel.
Material:   Glass, clear pale green. Few large bubbles, stretched horizontally in upper 0.02 near rim and vertically in lower preserved area
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., preserving rim and mouth, less than 50% of circumference. Some iridescent weathering and interior and exterior pitting.
Manufacture:   BL, trail decorated

Period:   Late Roman (5th -6th c AD)
Chronology:   Cf. Agora 34, cat. 356-364; Jalame, cat. 217-223 (trail too high). These have trails around rims though, which this piece does not.
